Shopping around for the holidays? How about a new conventional reel for that special angler in your life?
Or maybe just for you?
The New Penn Squall Lever Drag is a new conventional reel that is worth taking a look at. It starts off with graphite sideplates and frame for a strong yet lightweight foundation. Add a forged and machines aluminum spool, stainless steel main and pinion gears and a 5+1 shielded stainless steel bearing system and you wind up up with a stout package. Some additional features include the Penn Dura-Drag system, Versa-Handle and the trick convenience of a true lever drag. They come in 4 models ranging from the 30 weighing just 18.2 ounces with a 6.1:1 gear ratio to the largest being the 60, weighing 28.1 ounces with a 4.3:1 gear ratio. Prices are very affordable at $159.95 to $179.95.
