Thursday Recap Report-Weekend Possibilities:
A Summary of local fishing from Santa Monica to Oceanside, including Catalina and San Clemente Islands, with fishing trips out of San Diego down to Baja, Mexico.

The Pursuit found the Bonito on the chew again at Catalina on Saturday, catching 102. This is a bit surprising for this time of year, yet that was it for the rest of the week, with no further reports of finding any Bonito. Sadly the Yellowtail bite at the Coronado Islands has not returned, it's all about Rockfish this week out of San Diego on the ¾ day boats? How about a surprise showing of night fishing for some White Seabass?

The Pride out of Seaforth Landing in Mission Bay did some local Ghost Hunting Monday night, 01-27-14 and did well:

The best bet to catch a Yellowtail is jumping on a multi-day trip that can reach the area south of San Martin Island, fishing the high spots.

The Chief out of San Diego returned from a 2.5 day trip on Monday, 01-27-14. They caught 62 Yellowtail, lots of Lingcod and Reds fishing below San Martin and at Colonet. Some pictures:

Nice Cow Cod:

Then some big Lingcod:

And Reds:

Add a few big Whitefish:

The Fortune out of Point Loma also returned from a 2.5 day trip over the weekend and found the Yellowtail, big Reds and Lingcod on the chew:

The Tribute out of Seaforth Landing in Mission Bay had another excellent 1.5 day trip over the weekend, south of the border. They managed limits of Lingcod, big Reds and limits of Rockfish. Big Lings:
