Accurate 665 NN mounting question??

I just picked up a 665 NN that came in the mail yesterday..I had planned to mount it on a Super Seeker Ulua 93H but no way will it fit over the cork grip..The stud spacing on the reel is about 1 inch and it needs at least another 1/4 inch to fit over the grip..Has anyone came up with a solution for mounting one of these..??Any info is appreciated..

I found this on the accurate site and it looks like it maybe a solution to the problem..Anyone used one of these..??

It looks like one part attaches (replaces the reel foot?) to the reel while the other part is the clamp. Could be THE solution for the narrower Accurates... provided you have cork tape rather a reel seat.

Mark..I just talked to Matt at the factory and the PitBull may solve the problem, the rod does have a cork handle..The part is not available yet but he said a few months down the road it should be..Thanks..
