how to clean Aluminum boat??

Picked up a 19 foot center concole boat and the hull needs a good cleaning. Have any of you any advice on what to clean it with? I tried my pressure washer and no go, so there must be a cleaner for this problem, with all these type of hulls out there. Thanks for any help. AL
