Allcoast Oldtimers! When Was the Term "Acid Rod" First Used Here?
I'm getting to be an old geezer and the memories are getting fuzzier so help me out here! Allcoast was the first place I used the term Acid rod to describe the spiral wrapped rods that I do. When was the first time it was used? I am thinking mid '90s but don't remember, later? Earlier?
If you have an idea, please chime in!
I don't know how far back the archives go back.

Hell you should know, I think you are the one that started it. I started wrappin acid for the Carnes boyz and haven't stopped yet. That's been what? 20 years or more.

Yes, I did start it! Not the spiral wrap, but the West Coast, SoCal version, "The Acid Rod"!

I thought it was you. Remember when we met in SD before my RP trip, that had to be 20 years back. You showed off one of your typical purple haze Hendrix rods, definately on acid! And look what has started? I wonder if Mark G. knows this story?

when did you wrap the Purple Haze rod for me.....the one with the gold sic guides and the Chinese letter inlay grips.....I still got it....that had to be 12 to 15 years ago....
