Weather Forecast: Lower Banks, HB, Clarion?
I know the sportboat captains subscribe to realtime weather satellites.
Is there a place where we losers who only think about fishing LR can look at current conditions including swell, wind, etc.. I searched for weather satellites and radar dopplar but could not find anything current. I would also be interested in seeing weather models that forecast the predicted weather patterns for the week to come? If Fritz and Dr George Fishbeck can do it why can't we?
I only ask because it is now nine days plus a wake up and I'm starting to lose sleep just thinking about it. I know, I'm a loser.... I should prolly get back to work so I can save up for next year but this 15 day after turkey trip is all I can think about.
Thanks; Big Ed!

I've had good luck on magicseaweed.com. It has wind and swell models up to 7 days out I think. I always give it a glance right before my trip leaves

You'll need to poke around a litle but I've found this to be spot on.
Human beings, who are unique in their ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their disinclination to do so.

...Hurricane Kenneth is currently a category 2 storm with winds of 105 mph. It's centered 695 miles South of Cabo San Lucas (about 400 miles South of Socorro and Clarion) but it's moving almost due West at 13 mph. While it may strengthen and become a category 3 hurricane (111mph-130mph), it's course will keep it far enough away from the Revillagigedos so it won't pose a danger to any of the trips down there or headed that way.
