re: SM Bay 7/13 Sharks in the Surf

Thanks for the report and the history lesson.

I have a few questions (excuse my ignorance didn't know sharks of that size were available from the surf)

Those were all caught from the shore?
Bait was from MDR were you fishing SMB?
Tackle to land 70+ fish from shore?

re: SM Bay 7/13 Sharks in the Surf

I am always amazed by the variety of fishing locally; targets, techniques, strategies, tackle and willingness of many fishermen to share.

To me this is all new information, thank you for the response.

Guys,
I hope there were 3 of you fishing because...
the limit for soupfin sharks is one per page 42 of the DFG Rules and Regulations for 2007, Sect. 28.51c.

It is the Leopard Sharks that have a limit of 3 per person over 36"....not the soupfin sharks.

I know DFG personnel review these reports on a regular basis.
