PV REPORT-ALL THE USUAL SUSPECTS
Just finished up 5 days in PV.Fishing was very steady for all the typical species. We had a couple heartbreaks on some bigger fish, pulled hook on a nice 130lb tuna. Then a 500lb black marlin hammered a slow trolled skippie and went balistic almost crashing into anouther boat before launching the 8lb skippie into the air.Just the vision of that fish pouncing the bait and grey hounding towards the unsuspecting boat will stick with me for along time.Back on the troll 10 minutes later and anouther skippie gets exploded on by a cow tuna but no dice the bait came back crushed but not swallowed.Thats what keeps us coming back for more.We did catch alot of very nice fish for the week though. Here are a few of the photos I took in between everything else was doing. It can get very busy on the deck when the fish are tearing up gear like its paper.
Pic 1 - Cuberra Snapper on a chunk.
Pic 2 - Yellowfin on a fly lined Cabby
Pic 3 - Saifish flylined cabby
Pic 4 - Twin tuna flyined cabbys
Pic 5 - Blue Marlin sloe trolled skippie.Unfortunatly the Blue marlin could not be revived.

Nice report and trip Matt! The seas look awesome. Some quality fish for sure. Ya can't get the cows every trip unfortunately. Makes me wanna go bad.
