The Cows are biting...

Hey Guys,

Here is a second hand report I received this morning. Lets call the angler "Steve" I'm sure there may be posted reports to confirm this.

Hey Jeff,

The lower banks finally took off today. Scotty from the R.P office, reported that the Spirit of Advenure nailed 13 fish over 250# and the Star caught 8 over 250# today!!! I hope she didn't mean over 200# either way it's a good sign.

Also.. found this from the Shogun

re: The Cows are biting...

It happening!!!!
Here's a report from the Excel

[url=http://www.excelsportfishing.com/fishing_report.php?

It looks like a lower bank thing. Right on pattern for this time of year. The Hurricane Bank also looks great for those folks who are on a long enough trip to get there.
The Excel is on a 10 day and is in a place to find them.
Moooooooooooooo.

Going on the AA on Dec 8.
Can't wait!

Tight Lines everyone.

re: More

I don't know about that guy "Bill" and I would never believe an angler named "Steve"Wink Any way you slice it this sounds like pretty darned good fishing to me. Here are some words from Randy on Royal Star:

"That area we got onto last night turned out to be the real deal here today with good cow action for the entire fleet. We ended up with 10 fish, 7 of which were 207-265, an amazing average with the smallest fish going 160. 100-130lb fluorocarbon topshots with a flylined sardine accounted for all the bites today. Overall incredible sign of 200lb plus fish combined with the fact that it is just showing up in this area bodes well for a great winter. The water temp is still 78 degrees so I wouldn't be surprised if this fishing goes past January as it did last year.

Todays shot shows Tom Nordstrom and Chip Mezin with a brace of deuces, 216 and 222 respectively"
