First SMB Bugging trip of the year for me..

well it's been 2 years since i have been bugging due to boat issues. was able to get out with a buddy last night for the first time in 2 years. cleared the MDR breakwall by 4:30 and headed north. quick fly by on the first spot and there were 4 boats on it. boy times have changed!!! 5 years ago, we fished that spot on weekends by ourselves now that spot looks like the breakwall up at oxnard. headed north and set up with two other boats working the same area already. slow pick all night with no visable pattern on what was going on. ended the night with 6 nice legals to 6 lbs., 6 big yellow rock crabs and probably 6 shorts. beautiful night on the water, nice to get back out there...sorry no pics.
