New Cirxle Hooks
A couple months ago, WON had an advertisement about some new circle hooks coming out.
Seems like Kenny Cirks & John Grabowski were in the add pushing them for cow fishing.
What up?
Thanks,
Limit

re: New Cirxle Hooks
The hooks should be in the tackle stores any day now. I'm very excited to get them out there weve been working on these hooks for a long time now. I've had the samples for some time and not only myself but everyone else I've given them to are very pleased with the final product.

re: New Cirxle Hooks
Will they be offered at the Long Beach Fred Hall Show? If so, what booths will be handling them?
What makes these different, "special", from those already on the market?
Thanks.

Well, I caught cows on them, and I pull hard.
How are these different?
They don't straighten out!
As Javier says, OUCH!

David , Is this your new hook of choice? Were do you rate it against a hoodlum? The reason, is the hoodlum hooks are on my shopping list for FHS.

re: New Cirxle Hooks
Are these for catch and release?
I mean if the hook is a circle then wouldn't it be called a ring?
I'm confused

Jim, it's just a new Mustad circle hook, kinda a new designer line that Ken Cirks, Ralph Mikkelsen, Eric Huff, John Grabowski, myself and a few others have been testing and giving feedback to Steve Tagami of Mustad for a few years now.
Kenny brought me some down for our January 8th 12 day, I tried them and like them. Light, strong, easy to pin the bait on.
I got a 213 on the 6/0 size, and Tina got a mean 225. Numerous mean 175-190s were caught on them too.

re: New Cirxle Hooks
Do you mean the new Demon Perfect Circle hook??
If so, which size and 2X or 3X?
I think it would be a nice idea to send the first 20 posters on this thread a dozen or so, wouldn't it??
Ancora Imparo, I am still learning.

I'm willing to bet I can straighten out a 2005 Eagle Claw at Guadelupe, but somebody will have to hand one to me, because there certainly aren't any in my tackle box
