Charity donation question
Hope this is in the right thread.
At any rate, I have a BUNCH of fishing tackle - rods, reels, hooks, rigs, sinkers, lures, etc. etc. that I am no longing using and would like to find a good place to donate it to, especially an org that helps kids would be ideal!
Anybody have any good ideas?

Heres another idea, take your gear to the J@T Tackle swap meet in Simi Valley( no fee is charged, just bring your owm table ) on Saturday April 14 and sell the stuff. Then donate the money to Friends of Rollo. Their phone number is 805-527-7653 for details.

A propos: I have a bunch of busted surf reels (small, cheap spinners) and other busted reels. I'd like to give them to someone either to fix up for charity or to salvage for parts, rather than just throw them away. Any ideas?

What didn't you understand?
A propos, by the way, means, "which reminds me," "while we're on the subject," or "by the way."
I have a bunch of damaged reels. I don't want to throw them away. I'd like to give them to someone that might want them. I was asking for ideas. Unlike your equipment, this stuff doesn't work right now.
Is that sufficiently clear so you don't have to leave a row of question marks, or do I need to break it down even more.
Jesus, this site gets more problematic every day.

I don't recall Jesus ever posting here. I think he's usually on Kilsong's JIGNPOP Forum.
OK, beyond that I got nothin'
Human beings, who are unique in their ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their disinclination to do so.
