Wild salmon action at Avila Beach

W Hardisty out Santa Maria CA called in a fishing report on salmon fishing out of Avila Beach. He fished it for last 4 days and he and his buddy limited out trolling FBR in 150 feet water 3 miles out at 30-60 feet on the wire. They limit each day and the longest it took was 11/2 hours…fish averaging 22-26 pounds and are hard fighters…they are heading north and his buddies have been raiding his FBR supply after seeing him whack them..so he needed an emergency shipment.

Great to hear of the success up that way on the Salmon !! Kinda wild with a few of those guys getting caught here waaaaaaay down south !!
