To be honest I'm not sure. You may have to shave the cork a little on that rod. We do not offer any longer hardware for the A model clamps. They use a special T-bolt that is not something you will find at a hardware store. I know there are some aftermarket clamps sold at Fishermans Landing in San Diego. That may be your only option.

Thanks to the guys down at charkbait, who took their time to set me up with an tiburon clamp that works perfectly with this combo.

Can you post which Tiburon Clamp (model #) please?
Just curious, why does Shimano not offer longer screws for an almost $500 reel? (your stock/only screws for these reel are pretty dam short!!!!)

Don't have an Ulua but you got me thinking. Pulled a Trini 20 and it easily fit a fat 3M Aftco reelseat. Spectra, tiny reels, on an Ulua. Thanks doradochaser, good to know if I ever go that route.

We have actually made them longer than they used to be. The clamps work on all of our rods and most of the rods out there that you will use the reel on. There are some exceptions as you are aware.
