I got a chance to take the family out for some Memorial day fun. We left Newport at midnight, tanked up with squirts and headed south. We arrived at 3 am and set the hook in 75' with lots of bait and fish on the meter. The first fish came at 3:30. I started to wake the family up one at a time till we had limits by 5:00am. The fish went 42, 54 and my six year old's first Seabass was 56lbs. It will be a great memory for both of us.
Nice goin' of the fishys !!! Only one problem, Poor Kid !! It's gonna take him a good long while to best his PB on WSB. Or maybe you're a sly old dog and will keep him shooting for that goal .... trip after trip after trip .... for that long-time fishin' buddy guarrante !!
Hey Craig, Nick from Pizza Bakery. Logging onto Allcoast for the first time in a while and I see this at the top of the opening screen. I remember seeing the picture on your phone in the restaurant... seeing a full size image on here makes the catch look even more awesome!! Way to go. I'm headed to Catalina on Monday, hoping to find some of this fish's island relatives!
