Went out yesterday with a couple guys. Had an easy time making squid then headed out to start the day with a some rockfish. After a few lings and some huge reds (5-8 lbs) we decided to go look for calico. We found nice 65-67 degree blue-green water but with very little current. Looked at a few move spots and found the same conditions. Skipped the bass and when on to find a few halibut. 15 minutes into it we hooked our first and they just kept coming. 2 hours and 6 take downs later we have no more room in the cooler. Ended the day with a nice easy ride back to the harbor. It was the perfect day!!!
