took mom and dad out sunday to the channel islands to chase seabass on "marie" (our new-to-us rock harbor 25). great bait at ciscos in the morning and some tips from the guys there of where to go to whack em. seems like the seabass were shy cause we didn't hear of any--but who knows. fished yellowbanks for some early non-action then up the backside for some fun rockfishing. assorted fish taco meat and a short ling. mom got the jp with the nice sculpin in the gap. great day on the water. great time hanging with family. come on summer. come on tuna...

Long time since you or I have posted........but good to see you back in top form... that would be the boat and the fishing as well! boy does it bring back memories of San Diego and Morro trips and all the fun we had in the late 90's.........awesome buddy, keep em' coming!

yeah, i (and the wife) definitely have the fever again. time to buddy boat out to the islands and the tuna grounds. i also owe you a few trips. but your family has grown a bit (as you add another real soon!) so we'll see if we can pull off a trip just for the boys this summer (or in the fall out to the 3118) ).

about 59 to some spots around 60.5 when i was looking. i think all the wind turned it over a bit.
