I very much appreciate the inputs from you all, possitive as well as negative as related to the recent post by Nav.

I did not respond immediately because I did not have an opportunity to
discuss the issues with our customer (NAV) untill today. Amazing what can be accomplished when reasonable poeple have the opportunity to discuss one on one.

Our customer had a very resonable concern. It seems that circumstances
lined up against us and as a result we did not get the job done. Not because of the lack of effort or concern. It does feel like a perfect storm of events.

I especially appreciate the respectfull negative concerns that were raised by some of you. Some times factual negative feedbck is the most valuable information.

Accurate is in the fishing tackle side of our business because we love to fish, spend time on the water and be around fishing folks. I truely enjoy seeing our customers enjoy our products and to have the privelage to fish all over the world with some of the finest people on the planet.

Accurate has gained valuable knowledge and focus from this painfull experience. I promise we will put the experience to good use and will work to provide a higher level of service and quality product.

Thank you to Hawk and Nav for helping us work through this process.

Now I am off to Rancho Leonero. What a great life !!!

Gee, I hope George and Matt have my reels ready.

Thank You All !!!

Jack

Isn't life wonderful for Jack, how about the customer that missed "his" deadline to get his reels back so he could go fishing with his brothers.

In sales, humor can be a tool, used to even out rough spots in the course of doing business.....in this case it fell very flat.

I have 4 accurate reels, I have had them serviced yearly and Accurate has never missed a dead line getting them back to me. I was thinking prior to Jack's note of defending Accurate, as I have in the past when they were chastised for one thing or another.

However the note from Jack fails to work from a corporate public relations point of view. Consumers of Accurate Reels don't ususally have the time Jack does to fish, in most cases we are subject to a finite amount of time due to work schedules. That's why we need our reels back when they are promised and scheduled to be returned. Late doesn't make for a good outcome.

My suggestion? Exactly what your doing now.....Expression a concern and acting on it. That's service!

Ignorance is Bliss

Whatta peanut gallery of pettiness. You guys wanna little cheese with your whine? You don't even own Accurate reels...what do you know?!! Jack, ignore these idiots, those of us who own Accurate reels and/or are in business recognize your committment to excellence in the manufacturing & servicing of your reels and we also know there are a very rare few owners like you who will publicly respond here. The fact that Nav's reels left your warehouse and was in the hands of the courier appears to be lost on these fools. I have had my Boss & ATDs serviced many times by your company and the service was second to none. The occasional glitch is going to happen in business...the fact that they appear to be so rare is a testament to Accurate who has thousands (if not tens of thousands) of customers. When you're at the top there are alot of people who wanna drag ya down. Jealously is a common motivator. To those who use this thread to justify never buying an Accurate product...they are not worthy of your reels. Let em buy the cheaper stuff...it suits them. You make a superior product! Reel cow killers!
