So I entered the Izorline knot tying contest this week at the Fred Hall fishing show in Long Beach.
I entered the Media division because I'm co-author of the "It's A Keeper" GPS Fish Finding Guide of Southern California.
On Wednesday night I qualified tying #135Lb line which broke at #202.5.
This turned out to be the strongest knot for the entire show, even the pros.
Today was the final. I tied #135Lb again which broke at #195.
This also was the strongest knot in any division in the finals.
All I can say is, what a trip!
Thats my story,

You don't judge a fisherman by his gear, but by how much time he spends in his laboratory.
