Just curious to know if anyones ever been lobster hunting out of channel islands in general, and if so , do you catch anything?

Sure they fish Lobster up there.
They hoop and dive the breakwaters, jetty's, islands, reefs, and rockpiles.
They do well sometimes, and sometimes they don't do so well.
They're a tight-lipped bunch up there.
You pretty much have to beat it out of them.
