I'll leave from MDR to Catalina tonight. And head down to 277 and 209 area for Paddy hopping tomorrow morning. But I'm wondering about bait situation in Catalina. Is there bait barge in Catalina? what time they open? Any phone # or contact? I'll monitor channel 72 and 16 tomorrow. call me for conquest23, i'll answer...

One option would be to go a little early and tank up on small mackerel outside the harbor, or on a paddy. Inseine usually closes at 5PM, but I have caught the other place at six and loaded up. The only time I have done it in recent years was this spring and they had nice bait and treated me well.
