8)First trip of the year (late I know but boat was being worked on) and first trip with our new Fishing Arch!! Arch came out great adds a nice sleek look and functionality to the boat! What do you think?

Went solo out of MDR and loaded up with squid from Nick on the DeDe Marie. Headed up the front side for some bass and what not. Weather was a 10, perfect. Bass slow to bite and not much doing...then the lazy rod, 2 hooks with 4 oz. on bottom goes zzzzzzzzz...set it and its taking drag and shaking its head....9 lb yellow to start the year!! Bass picked up but slower than anticipated. Saw the biggest school of breezing Cuda ever! Swam right underneath the boat! Had to be 100 fish all logs!! That got the blood flowing! Threw the iron but no biters. Probably would do better for bonito and cuda with 'dines on board but not this time, next time I'll go with the dines and see what happens (note: with sardines you won't get perch'd all the time).

Ran the boat 30 mph both ways, light chop on way home but no problems. Hope this helps anyone who might be going, post if you go to any islands, thx.8)
