We will be making our first trip to Channel Islands this weekend. Though I would inquire and get advise from the experienced that have been there.

Going to Santa Cruz and or Santa Rosa and will be an overnight trip, looking for some suggestions on safe anchorages, and anything else to watch out for. Also looking for some good fishing spots if you can give them up! LOL.

Any help would greatly appreciated.

Not much in the way of exotics at the islands currently. However we did hook a couple yellows today, but slow overall on them.

The calico and cudda are full speed though.
