Clean Reports Board. Who's In?

Be brave gang. Speak up!

AC has been dealt some blows lately despite the fact that both Don and John have the best intentions to do what's right for the majority and make AC the very best. Addressing the logistics involved on this site has to be beyond confusing and a major challenge at the very least. One has to admire those who make it happen.

However, the true Vets (those that have been around AC for many years now) know who actually has a boat, fishes, are hard-core, offers advice, and posts a report. Unfortunately, the most recent trend at AC has been plagued by those choose to wait in the wings and and relish the chance to strike-out at those who actually fish and contribute. Major ugly deal deal and no room 4 this at AC . This act will ultimately chase away fisherman and dismantle a site.

I think we should ban those who cross the line and plague AC from being what it once was, and can still be, and perhaps well beyond. No whinning. Just delete those who cross the line.

You know, mike. The posts attacking you over the weekend were deleted when brought to the attention of the owner & moderators - justifiably so.
Innocent people can walk away from those types of attacks. THIS POST now makes me wonder if the most recent attacks on you were TOTALLY unfounded.

Billy. You are mistaken. It does have a last name. Moore. Middle Initial is S.

Well- despite your reply you will be happy to know I just ran your name through a national serial rapist hot-line for 50 states and guess what? Your name came up. Despite the fact that you are likely not a serial rapist, there's no reason for me to contaminate this site by posting BS. That's not what this is all about. It's cutting those who attack others with negative comments and getting back to what AC is all about. Reports and decent info.

I thought this board was for fishing reports only! Move it to the BS board. I get flamed when my reports are on the wrong board, so why isn't this moved.

I understand your intentions are good, but it is not a report unless it is about someone going fishing. No one went fishing and I feel it is not fair to others who get flamed and have their reports moved.

no offense, but that statement should make you realize that this isn't the right board for this. "this is all about reports" clearly tells everyone that it's NOT a report in and of itself. it's ABOUT reports, plain and simple. so i think kurt does have a clue and i'd be surprised to see this stay here.

i don't think this is a recent trend. it's been going on for quite a while now, and allcoast is still around. i'm not saying i think it's right that people attack others on here, but at the same time, this site has endured in spite of that happening time and again.

i personally think allcoast is dealing with it the best they can. they have limited resources and the moderators have lives. john and louis work. they don't sit at the computer waiting for new messages to be posted. they delete the ones they feel need to be deleted and do so as quickly as they can.

and finally, you said: "I think we should ban those who cross the line and plague AC from being what it once was." again, no offense, but if people were banned permanently, wouldn't this thread not be here because you were banned once weren't you?

anyway, i think this board is just fine. it sucks that people get attacked, but we all know it's gonna happen. people hide behind their computers all the time on here, and all over the place on the internet. i say allcoast is doing the best they can, and if it happens to me, i'm just gonna say something like, "thanks for your opinion." or something to that affect. but i'm not gonna lose sleep over it.

I don't know why you even bother. I know you personally and know that you can walk the walk. I consider myself a pretty accomplished angler, certainly much more that the average guy. You are more talented than I.

Most people I encounter dabble at fishing. Occasionally I run into someone who is passionate and really makes a science out of fishing.

For those of you who don't know Mike I can tell you that he is one of the few people whom I view as really being a student of the sport. He takes it seriously and he knows what he talking about.

I fished with him recently on a long range trip and I went 2-6 on cows in one day. Mike went 4 for 4. I can tell you he is one hell of a fisherman.

Mike, why are you banging your head against the wall. I read Allcoast several times each day. I really don't post much. I don't have time for the drama. I suggest you do the same. You don't need to prove yourself to anyone.

I am not whining, I am just stating that there should be no special privilages. That statement you made is probably why you get attacked so much on this board. The very first post on this board states-
"If you have a PB'er fishing report it goes on this board.
If you have a PB'er technical-related post it goes on the PB'er TECH Board.
ALL other PB'er-related posts go here.

Hey Mike,

I hav been a paying AC'er for about two years...in my opinion, nothing has changed since i found this site. In my opinion, the drama is minimal compared to a few other boards i "lurk" at. There are also a few sites that i post at now and then...the difference between them and AC are, AC gets a lot more hits, and reports...so i chose/choose to come to AC for my fishing insight. I feel I give back enough with my reports and my ramblings to justify my membership. AC is not perfect, but lets not forget...its just a website...you have to take the good with bad, and in my opinion, AC offers more good then bad. The sh!t stirrers will come and go, but the quality sh!t will last and endure.
