Things are looking up, the water temp has gone up to 62, and we had a steady bite of calicos plus 1 ling, all day. We had a late start, saw Badger on the way out at 10 AM, he was coming back in! Engine problens I think. The bait was jumping and the birds were diving. all fish were released to fight another day, my freezer is full from Mexico. We were in 40' of water looking for WSB along with everyone else. I have a few pics, but we've all seen calicos and lings. I will put them up if anyone wants to see.

The quick rise in water temps should really help with the tails and WSB.

I'm finally getting back on the water next Sunday. I'm taking a bunch of ladiy anglers for my Yacht Club out on a Ladies only fishing tourney.

Its been so long I have to go out on the boat and reorient myself this afternoon!!

I know the feeling. It took me a bit to get back in the swing of things after a long 6 month drydock! @( Now that the first trip is out of the way I am ready for some serious fishing. 8)

Well the Badger is fine, guess it was just that time of the month on Monday, She was having a hissy fit (air in the RW system) and would not cool off at idle out of the harbor. I recently worked on the RW housing and changed the impellar. She is ready to roll but definitely
has a mind of her own
