Thinking about going hoopin sat night after work. How does the full moon affect the hoopin? Is it too much light? Also, what is everyones take on how DP will be on a sat night? I wont be down until 2200 or so. I dont really wnat to go down and deal with a zoo if that is going to be the case. As it is, just the last few tiomes I was down this week there have been more unrespectful, and in hurry peeps.

Full or new moons make for bigger tidal movements. Bigger tidal flow makes more feeding time for the fish and critters down there. I like high tides and this weekend it's around 9PM. Kind of fits right in the hoopin slot for me.

My son and I were out there last Saturday and it was real busy near the jetty until about 9:30. Actually we headed in around then and there were still a few boats near the South end of the rocks.

We set up at the North end and outside quite a bit. We got lots of shorts with only one keeper.
