According to the 11 AM So Cal wind model, it's blowing in the 40's out by SBI, 10-20 frontside of Cat, 25 backside of Cat, 25-30 at Clemente.

10:23 AM So Cal Swell Model has 4-6 in the inner channel (except in the lee of Cat where it's 2-4. Backside of Cat is 6-8 and outside of San Nicolas 12-14.

This is just the beginning of the blow.

It's blowing every bit of that right now as I am on the boat in Alamitos. I have seen gusts that have to be 60+, boats are being thrown around, palm fronds flying, a tree uprooted.....and it's supposed to get worse before it gets better! Check out the swell models, 14 feet right now at mid-channel!

Crazy weather, indeed. I was at the boat an hour ago and it was really blowing; I'm back in the office at the 91/55 and it's gotten dead-calm in the last 15 minutes...
