A true last of the season/year combo trip, I am planning on running to the West end of Cat on Friday. to yo-yo, fin bait or squid fish some yellows, as well as try to put some tasty Reds on the deck... If you've seen the recent reports, it's been quite good for the schoolie sized yellows, nice way to end '06.

My buddy "Steak" is planning on joining me on the Skippy, but I'll accept one more "Rideshare", check the Rideshare board. Anyone else who'd like to buddyboat is welcome, hope to make it a great ending to a excellent year!

Be careful, not sure I'd pull the trigger on the Friday trip.
I expect the conditions to turn over and be blown out. JMO.

Thanks, John... I checked LA/Oxnard NOAA this morning & the Cat report was looking better for Friday than you just posted... from my pilot training, I'm keenly aware of both "weather report fallacies" and "go/no go" decisions... thanks for the update... may have to be Sat. after all... any chance you'll be out there Sat.?

Highly unlikey that I'll be at the island anytime soon Jeff.
To much personal STUFF/CRAP going on to even think about getting out.

Good Luck!

Changed my mind after work today.
Fishing tomorrow (1/2 @ss) and hooping tomorrow night (!).
Hope the weather is as nice as I think it will be?
