Hey, anyone out there fishing inside Newport Bay in small boats. I'm getting my boat back from Arkansas after 3 yrs. and will start fishing the bay again. Just wanted to chat and get caught up on places and lures to use and to see if the old technics still work. Thanks

I was there last weekend and my wife caught a nice legal halibut under the PCH bridge on a live sardine. I watch the kayak sites for info on the harbors.

All the old fish were caught. Only new fish around now so the old tricks just don't work anymore.
