Whats been up the past few weeks ??? It seems as if the overnight fishing in SD and Multi day trips have slowed down and I mean really slowed down a lot......WHATS GOING ON ????? Anyone have a clue on why the fishing has been so bad lately?? I am going on a 3 day trip on the PacQueen for Labor Day weekend and I am getting bummed out by seeing these crappy fish reports these past few weeks. I know fishing can't be great all the time but c'mon....I hope the FISH GODS show us SOME LOVE SOON !!!

The overnight numbers have dropped, but the two days are looking decent. You just have to go a little further to find the warmest water, unless you want the Albies....then either way your looking at a little bit of a ride.

Not so bad.....unless you hate yellowtail!!
Your 3 dayer should be even better.

You picked the best, I picked the worst.

The truth is somewhere in between.

Actually it is 4.14 fish per angler on an average of 1.5 days fishing.

Is that GOOD ???????????????????

Well I agree to some extent BUT, if I could ever afford to go on a 3-day trip, I think it's safe to say that I would be disapointed if I didn't catch anything. May be if I were rich I could sport a nerdowell attitude towards fishing. Would'nt that be nice.

Gotta go with the most recent data!! 4.14 not so bad. However, he is going on a 3 day trip....he'll do better. Big difference between 1.5 and 3 days. Maybe they'll score on yellowfin.

3 dayer is no guarauntee of fish.... but isnt that why you go on a 3 dayer because its practically guaraunteed fishing?

I must admit the reports havent been EPIC, but hopefully they will be on my 3 dayer !!

Warm water from below has been cut off by the California current, as seen in this sat shot. If the Westerly's continue it will slam the door and lock it !!.
