Wondered if anyone can tell me of Frank's beginnings in the fishing business? I may get my facts wrong, but I heard at one time he was a teacher. Did he start in the sportfishing business around Redondo?

Frank was a teacher...has a Degree in Economics (I think)...worked Newport on the old "Patrician"...with Spike Taft (I think)...his first two boats were the little "Searcher" (Conquest) and the "Nova" (run by Steve Browning and by Frank on early multi-days)...
Being a former charter boat captain and currently a school teacher with 5 years left (and knowing Frank as a fishing legend) I just can't picture Frank in a class full of today's entitled punks backtalking him. Wouldn't you like to see how his LAST DAY in class turned out? LOL
I knew Frank had some time up here before going down to San Diego, appreciate the info.
