I was on a 10 day Excell trip a few years back and a veteran long ranger and his wife told me David Gilmour of Pink Floyd fame used to fish long range trips to the islands on the Qualifier now and then.They said he would bring his guitar and some times play at night in the galley.That would have been a fun trip.

I was sitting in front of the docks right behind the ticket office of Pt. Loma Sportfishing waiting to go on the Top Gun back in the mid 90's and right in front of me walks by Bud Bundy of Married with Children.

He was like 3 foot 6 I swear.
