What is the average depth you generally hoop for Lobsters in?

If you would be guaranteed LOBSTER LIMITS every single
night dropping your nets in 100 feet, would you do it?

I did a 95 ft spot a couple of times and after a couple of pulls of 5 nets for nothing, I was done...had I been doing well, it would have been a different story...

I did a 15 ft spot a couple of days ago...it was niiiice!

Hooping on my boat with you pulling = YES
Hooping on your boat with me pulling = NO
LOL

Actually, I would have to try it once to see how
hard it is to pull 130' or so of rope each time.

how long (hours) would i have to pull? if it was 2-3 hours and i could alternate with one other person and use 32" nets i'd do it for sure. i love that sweet lobster goodness to much to say no. and so does my girlfriend.

hell, if i had to pull all the nets for 2-3 hours by myself i'd still probably do it.

edited to add:

average depth i hoop: local = 28 feet.
island = 60 (although i've only hooped there once)

Not sure about up your way, but down in my part of town . .

The last couples nights the weather's been so nice
there could have been a WINTER version of CPFO.
I can see it now . . 15 boats all dropping 10
hoopnets at the same time on one side of the island.

Unless I'm plucked out of the sky unexpectedly,
Jan and I are a lock for the 3rd annual.

I only fish with 30# test.
Dave, . . you go ahead and use 10# test . .

I hoop between 30 and 60 feet, and have had the best luck between 40 and 60.

I would hoop 200 feet for a sure thing. But I'd bring some friends along for back-up!
