Your prayers helped!
I'm not sure whose it was, . . THANK YOU to everyone!
I just returned from the hospital in Oceanside.
I'll be back down there in the morning.
The Nuerologist liked what she saw in THE TESTS so she throttled
back all his medication and sedation at 7PM this evening with
the hopes he might respond, or . . . not respond. That was the
real question "how would he respond?". Well he did respond at
about 7:30 when all the MEDS were just about gone, he actually
nodded yes and no to questions, he had limb movement, and then
began finally breathing on his own. That was a good sign!
I'm sorry that I forgot to add he has a pacemaker that is a
handful of years old. It was also checked earlier this year
and he was told it was fine. All signs point to this at the
moment. He was fiesty without being sedated. That in and of
itself is a really good sign! That's why they put him back
on MEDS until the morning. My wife told me that when she
made a comment to my StepMother about my Dad getting more
beauty sleep, and that we'd be back in the morning, his
body lurched somewhat in her direction briefly . .
Another good sign!
Thank You again.
John.
