Trying to stay busy, keep occupied, stay busy so I don't slip into this depression that's trying to swallow me up.
I have lots of photos from my recent trip, but they seem to pop up in Paint Shop, and I don't have paint shop. I need to resize them, so that I can then post them and do a report.
That'll keep my hands and brain busy, but right now I'm stuck.
Any help appreciated, David

What programs do you have for viewing/editing pics David? You should be able to select another program. You may have gotten Paintshop free w/ a download and it automatically became the default viewer. I had something similar happen.

Try opening up your pic folder Dave and then right click on the
pic you want to open. If you are running the same windows that I am
another box will open and you can select 'open with' and then select
another program.
Good luck & God bless you and yours.

David, I too would like to express my condolences for your loss. Right-clicking on each file as described above will work, but you can make a global change so that pictures will always open in the program you prefer. Go to the "Start" button Go to "Settings" Find "Control Panel" Pick "Folder Options" Go to the "File Types" tab Scroll through the menu until you find "JPEG", and highlight it Click the "Change" button below that, then you can select whatever program you'd like to use as your image editor. open a photobucket account. It's free...upload your pictures there, and it's real easy to insert them into posts here..or anywhere on the net.

David, My deepest sympathies to you and your family. May you all remember that you were given a special gift in Nate, if only for a too short of time. If there is anything Neill or I can do, please don?t hesitate to ask.

You can find 2 free, easy and downloadable photo editing programs. Irfanview is easy to learn, while Fastone is a bit better. If you need any help with either and need someone to walk you through them, feel free to give me a call. 714 847 3526.

David, I have two adobe programs that will do it. I first bought Adobe Photoshop Album and it is a good basic program for putting together photo albums. It includes basic correction tools including resizing. I later bought Photoshop Elements and it is great, although a small learning curve.
