Position Title: Marine Product Support Technician
Location: Cypress, California
Job Summary: Working with a team, providing technical and sales related help on marine electronics by answering telephone, email and postal enquires from dealers and the general public.
Job Tasks
· Become highly knowledgeable in the specifications, capabilities and operation of Standard Horizon products
· Answer customer technical inquires regarding Standard Horizon products via telephone, letters, fax and electronic mail
· Work with customers to determine which systems, products or accessories best serves their individual needs
· Identify and recommend improvements in Standard Horizon products, documentation and procedures
· Represent the Company at Industry shows and meetings.
Education, Experience, and Skills Required
· Team Player
· Some experience of working in a customer focused environment
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Positive attitude
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to grasp new concepts quickly
· Data entry skills
· Proficiency on personal computers
· Basic office skills
· Tolerant nature
Desirable Qualifications
· Experience in working as part of a technical support team
· Electronics background
· Experience with boating and marine electronics
· Competent with the Windows operating environment, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook. Experience with SAP is also helpful
· Foreign language

We had one guy from the site send his resume, we would love to get many more though. We may need two positions to fill, so dont be discouraged people. It is a fun job. You get to talk to boater's all day and go out to shows all over the country if you want also. We train well and it doesnt pay bad. Great Benifits as well. So anyone interested please let me know.
