These one fish days are OK with me when the one fish is a good one. I was working the mid-morning high tide as it was starting to recede in my local water, throwing a sandcrab fly and a couple baitfish patterns along a hide-tide trough (hunting for a large corbina that I saw cruising through there). This guy grabbed the olive/white clouser.
He taped out at 13" on the nose, in spite of the water spot on my camera lense. It was the most beautiful day on the beach I have ever seen and perfect fishing conditions.
