It seems I've got the brightness thing figured out LOL. I swear you could land an airplane in our backyard. You HAVE to use a welding helmet to look at these things--unless you like having a purple spot in your eyes that lasts 12 hours or so.

I've got about 80% of the heat and electronic issues ironed out, and will have something ready for use soon. The first one will be ready to go by next weekend.

Whatever you want it to be. It'll be 12VDC and 3 amps minimum. The one shown is right at 3 amps and ~2,000 lumens. I'm working on thermal issues and will be getting more output from that size fixture. I could do 24VDC as well. Switchable, dual colors (white/green) also.

LEDs sure have taken off in a big way. Seems I see them in use more and more every day. Very cool!

BTW, something about the pict just makes me laugh...if not viewed in the context of the thread.
