i was going to fish the warm band of water near the 181 tomorrow yet the local tails just went off. both dana and oceanside boats slammed them yesterday. any fresh reports of their size and where they are getting them? any info would be great.

We followed the Dana Pride out just after 6 am. They were on a 150 heading. Don't know for sure but I think they were fishing a few miles off and just below the domes. (A friend works at the plant and he said there are boats out in that vicintiy every day including the party boats.) I wish I had stuck with the Pride-they made out a whole lot better than we did. 0 fish on board but one Marlin hook up on 12 # test. That hook up lasted less time than it will take to read this post but it was exciting actually seeing the marlin.
He surfaced just 15 feet off the stern heading straight for the boat and then took a hard right turn. Made the day!
