Hey Guys,

Anyone know where the sporties were picking up the slimesticks today in the SMB? Counts were really good. Last I heard the cuda and bass were out in front of the airport.

Any current info would be much appreciated.

I'd look for birds and troll a purple rapala......should be easy to find.

If you don't know where else to start, try between the harbor and the tanker anchorage in about 100' of water and troll. Some days they are scattered and not as easy to find. Good luck and watch out for the holiday yahoos. I think I'll just bring a lawn chair and cooler to the ramp.

i fished up there last wednesday (the 21st) and we started trolling rapalas in about 80 feet just south of the tankers and we got into fish there. we were pulling them at just under 5mph. we also ran into some up above santa monica in about 60 feet of water. same deal with the rapalas.
