Took a fellow I work with fishing in the harbor today. The guy is visiting here from China and had never been on a boat and has never fished before. Anyway, the wind is still blowing so we fish the Long Beach harbor near the oil islands and he gets this nice 28 inch halibut. Pretty cool beginner's luck. Buch of other shorts and croakers and lizard fish. Back in the slip by 3 pm with wind howling. Good luck everybody.
