Can you use a loop to loop connection on spectra with different line class and manufactures? (65lb to 80lb)

David is right. That is one of the quickest ways to connect solid spectra to a loop on a topshot, to add more line to your reel, etc.

You should also know that you can do a direct splice on all manufacturer's hollow spectra and between different sizes, (Within reason.), as well.
