In case anybody cares, I was out on my boat "Outlaw" Sunday morning for a few hours before having to come back in to take care of honoring MOM for Mother's Day...Out by myself just poking around. Started out from Angel's Gate and directly to Sunset Wreck site to see what was going on. Nada. Putt-putted back uphill past Gambler site, 14 Minute Wreck site before sitting at Middle Grounds of Shoe. Whole time going uphill saw bait on the surface damn near every 100 yards. Seals feeding almost every bait spot. Picked up 3 short halibut(released) at Mid Grounds, then moved out to outer buoy of Angel's Gate for 2 short Lings(also released). Encountered 2 whales there and a pod of dolphin feeding on bait right at the buoy. More life in local waters than I've seen all year.

Will be at Catalina Friday and Saturday for first venture weekend trip experience. Trip designed for the Fiancee's relaxation, but we will be fishing! Anybody here wants to say 'hey', call OUTLAW on the radio and I'll tell ya all about the fish we probably won't be catching!

Some would say that, LOL...There's always more to learn. I frequent coaching clinics every year and always pick up something new. Was on the offensive side for over 20 years and now a D co-ordinator. Defenitely different, and alot more work, especially studying film. Just went to a great clinic at UCLA. Walker is really a sharp guy, and Chow, oh-my-gosh, practically a rocket scientist on offense.
