Very fun day. Fished Saturday morning with my good buddy Jason "jscrib" on my 15ft aluminum boat the "Red Drum", burned only 3 gallons of gas and went major bendo.......sweeeeet!! Started fishing for bass at grey light and got a double hook-up at the first spot. From there it was WO on sand bass with some nice calico's mixed in. All bass caught on VS lead heads and Big Hammer & Bass Trix swimmy's. Stopped counting after 30 bass. Some bass photo's:
Wind started to pick up so we left the bass biting around 1p to target trigger. Jason said it was the most WFO trigger bite he'd ever been in. Every drop got hammered. And for those of you who haven't fought one of these fish, they pull very hard. Hard enough to break two hooks. 10 plus triggers landed. At least that many lost. 7 - bucky's 2 - wrasse 1 sculpin 1 - 40-50lb batman Here I am getting major bendo!
Jason's personal best trigger.
Nice trigger with some bucky's in the backround.
Headed in around 1500 due to windy conditions. I trolled a little bit in the harbor and got a pencil Barracuda.
Thanks again for joinin me Scribby.

Great fishing... About how far where you out? Did you use plastics the whole time?
I'm asking because I just purchased a 20 ft trophy 2002, getting it back tomorrow hoping to head out saturday for some fishing. I haven't been out in over 4 years so its about time to put the rust away and bring the poles out. Also I will be doing alot of buddy fishing for those of you who would like to come along.
