Finally got some time off work to get out and do some fishing.
Was hopping the cuda were still around. Left the harbor around 6 am and went out to the short banks looking for birds, bait, or any sign of the cuda. Nothing.
So I hit a couple rock piles for some sand bass and sculpin.

Then spotted some birds working and picked up and ran over to them. Lots of life with birds, bait, dolphins, and even a whale. But no cuda. Chumned lots of dines, threw iron, plastics, for nada.

Looks like the cuda moved south towards Newport.
Anyway, trolled jointed rebels on the way in and caught a small cuda in the harbor.

Fun day, but was bumned the cuda had left. Will being going over to Catalina on Monday morning with the family. Will post a report.
