Cory certainly supports Catch and Release. I was releasing everything and several times the deckhands wanted to find someone who wanted my fish and Cory told them that if someone wants to release the fish just release it. I released 12 Bass plus 8 or so shorts, 3 pencil cuda, a legal sculpin and a few macs.
There was one dad there with his little daughter who had a big WFO tacklebag with rocket launchers that he was keeping rods in and... well, never mind!
I was thinking about the weekend after next. Let me know if that works for you.blackfish said:Nice job Kurt,
Love seeing the kids hooked on fishing. Your son is a natural.
I was invited to help on a "Freinds of Rollo" trip out of Dana today, but my baby is sick. I was really looking forward to it.
Seeing your post makes me wish I could have made even more.
When are we going to hook up again. Need to just set a date.
Funny you should say that. The first time I picked the snake up I grab him at the tail end and held it up when it curled upward and tried to bite me so I flung it away and my son decided at that very moment to dart across in front of me and the snake hit him in the back.SAMIAM said:Splitting image of his pops!.
Keep the tyke away from those gopher snakes big guy. :tu:
I normally use my calcutta on that pole, but I was using it on my other rig because one of my reels are broke. Haven't had the time to take it in yet. I wanted my son to use level winds on both the poles he was using so it would be easier on him. I also had my trini 20 on another rig just in case something bigger was around.MarkT said:Oops, there was someone else with a little girl. I have an 800XL like your's but I don't use a charter special on it!
I like the cupholders on the WFO bags. I end up jamming my coffee cups into the side pockets on the Albacore.
Tackle ho? You probably notice that there are a lot of tackle ho's on those boats. Trinidads and Calcutta TE's aren't too hard to come by.
