There still out there. Went to the domes late sunday and early monday and had all the bones you could catch. We used jigs and Sardines and Choves. Largest was about 15 lbs. I used 20 Lb pline and these bones would take huge runs of line. Basically straight out from the domes at 3-4 miles. You'll see the fleet out there.
It was awesome to pull on these mini tuna....

congrats on the awsome bone action.where do u launch ur boat to go to the domes.can u pm me some info on info to take my boat down there.I am near the 605 and 210 fwy so i normally launch out of davies in long beach.thanks

So I went out today, 05/13/08 and fished the same area in front of the domes and got skunked. There were 2 cattle boats and they left the area pretty quick.

Tried dines, chovies and jigs and fished for 3 hours. Tried north and south of the domes for nada. Bait and birds were crashing all over but didn't get a strike.

Oh well. It was nice on the water and I had two good days fishing those bones. I hope they pop up soon.
