Wow! What a cool experience!

My first time being an observer and what can I say, I loved it!

Good to meet a lot of you down in Cabo and take part in a fun tournament with a great purpose and an amazingly talented field. I observed on three boats:

Day 1 Bull Rider
Day 2 Get Over It (tourney winner)
Day 3 Reelaxe

All three were very hospitable and the term "good sticks" does not even come close to doing the skill level of these teams justice. I was told that these guys were world class fisherman, and wow do I understand what that means now!

Sorry I missed the observer tournament, hope you guys had fun. It looked windy as heck out there, hope everybody got back safe.

Thanks to Bill (Wideopen) for turning me on to this. Don't worry, I'll never forget THAT day. If you need observers in the future just let me know, and if anybody here is considering getting certified, I highly recommend it!

Wow Todd!
You drew three of the top contenders.
I rode on Bull Rider on day two. Great team and owners. Very gracious.
I was on "Caliente" for the Observer tourni. That was a great experience despite the 6-8 ft. swells and 30kts. of wind!
Always something to learn fishing with the Brackmans.
Great pictures, I hope everyone that was down at the tourni. puts their pictures in.
It was a great trip for sure.

Todd- it was a blast observing with you on Bull Rider. Good time. The observer tournet was rough to say the least, sorry you couldn't be with us to get bruised and battered. Did your girlfriend have a good time?

John - I did get pretty lucky with my draw. Each team had a different style and I could see where each one could be deadly at times. Sorry about the rough seas, it looked uglier than sheet as I was heading back to the airport in the shuttle. Looking forward to more pics as well.

Casey - Definately good times. Amy did have a good time but missed me a lot during the day when she didn't have much to do. Then again she's probably just saying that to keep me from suspecting the pool boy. 8*8)
