where are you leaving from and how far are you willing to go......

If you want to travel, Catalina is a sure bet, is the water still flat from the Santa Ana's? It would make a easy crosing...just outside of Avalon all the bones you want. Also the Horse Shoe area would be a good area.....the bite has been pretty decent for bones.

there are tons of bonies right outside the MDR breakwater. over the weekend i picked up all my lobster bait on the way to malibu just pulling little squid skirts. good luck...oh, and they're not deep. try between 50 and 75 feet of water and just troll up the coast at that depth.

At Catalina they have become a nuisance. Even using the mini macks is no deterrent. It seems as though the entire front side is loaded with them. Good luck!

If your going local, there have been Bones down around the domes, along with mega macks! The bones have been from San Clemente south.
