New Furuno 582 - First Trip

Heading out Saturday to play with my new Furuno 582. Just wondering if anyone has suggestions on dialing it in. I'm thinking about hitting the north end of SMB.

FYI!
Sergio, from Expert Marine Electronics, did a great job installing the unit and thru hull. I would highly recommend him if anyone needs some work.

First you turn it on! No I'm sorry first you stop at the store and get a 12pack. Then you launch the boat and turn it on.

No seriously I wish I could go but Catalina is calling me. I do think an afternoon with a 12 pack just checking out some of our favorite spots would be the way to start. Lets hope the weather is on our side this weekend. Good luck.
